Assistant Manager - Petrol Station

A busy petrol station in Glendene is seeking a motivated and reliable team member to support daily operations and provide excellent customer service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of store presentation and safety.

Duties include:

• Assists the Store Manager in determining product mix, stock levels, and ordering • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through friendly and efficient service • Completes store administration and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures • Maintains a clean, safe, and well-presented store and forecourt • Reports on buying trends, customer needs, and store performance • Maintains records of stock levels and financial transactions • Ensures food temperature records are kept for fridges and display equipment according to guidelines • Assists with stock takes and ensures correct receipt of deliveries • Supports inventory management and product ordering • Ensures correct pricing and product displays, and follows safety and security procedures • Works flexibly according to a fortnightly roster, Monday to Sunday, with shifts between 6am and 11pm

Must have at least 6 months of relevant experience or a Level 2 or above qualification in Business Management.

Good numeracy skills and basic computer literacy are required.

Must be available to work weekends and public holidays

Must be able to lift heavy loads when required and work in temperatures of -18 degree Celsius or colder

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and police check

Must be flexible to work shifts on a fortnightly roster, Monday to Sunday, between 6am and 11pm
