About this job
Assist with the education and support of student(s).
Work with individual students to meet academic, behavioural, and social objectives as outlined in the student’s learning plan and as directed by the SENCO and/or classroom teacher.
In consultation with teachers, support and facilitate learning activities and instructional programmes for student(s).
Where required, participate in school activities such as sports events, assemblies, and other school programmes.
Participate in relevant professional development and in-service training for staff.
Support Attendance Initiatives: Work collaboratively with the SENCO, classroom teachers, and the pastoral care team to support students with low attendance and encourage consistent engagement with school.
Job Requirements
Punctual, professional, and supportive when interacting with and supervising pupils. Must be able to pass a MOJ check with no prior convictions, a pre-employment drug test, and a child protection check.
