Warehouse Storeperson

We are seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join a busy local distribution depot in Porirua! We operate a warehouse that manages and delivers products to various retail outlets across the region. This role involves a range of warehouse and distribution tasks, including: • Receiving deliveries, checking and logging these into the computer system • Unloading goods from trucks, to then inspect, sort and stack goods into specific areas in the warehouse • Scan, track and label goods • Pick and pack orders and prepare these for delivery • Stock rotation occurs regularly and checked • Stocktaking undertaken and updated on computer system • Will be required to do some deliveries within the Wellington region where necessary • Use Forklift and trolley jacks to move pellets outside and inside the warehouse • Keep the warehouse, organised, tidy and clean • Periodically check and fix any damaged goods

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training, bringing proven warehouse experience and the ability to work efficiently and independently.

• You must have a minimum of 1 years' warehouse experience in Inwards / Outwards goods • Holding a current F endorsed forklift licence are advantageous • Can pass a police check and a a drugs test • Able to do heavy lifting • Very fast learner and is able to fit in immediately • Able to stand for long periods and has no barriers to physical work • Proven to be reliable, punctual, hard working and proactive within the work place. • Availability to work in shifts including weekends and on public holidays so Flexibility is must
