Commercial Cleaner Geraldine

Canterbury/Timaru (Geraldine): We are seeking reliable and time efficient commercial cleaners to join our cleaning team based out of Geraldine.

Candidates will work shifts as part of a team cleaning several commercial sites across Geraldine and wider region.

Duties include but are not limited to: • Vacuuming carpets, curtains, and furniture • Cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and Fittings • Removing rubbish and recyclable material, and emptying - containers, bins, and trays • Cleaning and disinfecting fixtures • Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas and machines and cleaning carpets with industrial machines • Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes, and fixtures • Applying acids and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt and cleaning toilets.

Candidates must have reliable transport to travel to site, be flexible to work rostered shifts including early morning and late nights, be willing to learn, have exceptional time management skills and pass pre-employment checks.

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • Must have NZ Full licence and reliable transport to work site. • Exceptional routine and time management skills. • Knowledge and proficiency in cleaning or have past, experience in similar role. • be flexible to work rostered shifts including early morning and late nights • Must be able to work late nights. • Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice (M.O.J) Convictions check and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process.
