Civil Construction Worker

An Auckland based Civil Construction company is looking for Civil Construction Workers to join their team. Projects are located right across the region — from Warkworth to Drury.

In this role, your day-to-day tasks will include: - Assisting with the construction and maintenance of heavy civil infrastructure (roads, bridges, drainage systems, culverts, land development projects, etc.) - Operating hand and power tools - Loading and unloading construction materials - Assisting machine operators and tradespeople (including spotting) - Keeping work areas clean, safe, and well-organised - Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations on site - Carrying out general labouring duties as directed by the site supervisor

- Must have 1 + year of Proven industry Experience - Own reliable transport and ideally a NZ Full (clean) Driver Licence (NZ Restricted (clean) Licence will be considered with the intention of progressing to Full) - A Valid Site Safe or ConstructSafe certification - Drainage experience (advantageous) - Traffic control experience is highly desirable (candidates with this experience may be profiled for work opportunities in Otara) - Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in various weather conditions - Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team - Reliable with a strong work ethic - Strong commitment to health and safety practices - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol and medical test
