"Where independence meets community in a peaceful, supportive environment" A Lower Hutt Retirement Village is looking for a suitably qualified or experience caregiver.
Tasks Include: * Assisting patients with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing, grooming and tolieting * Support safe mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, walkers) * Monitor residents wellbeing, promptly reporting any changes in health status to the Registered Nurse * Creating a supportive environment for all our residents to maintain independence, dignity and cultural values * Reliability, compassion, and dedication to enhancing residents’ quality of life
Job Requirements
* We are looking for professional individuals with a minimum 1 years of caregiving experience in an Aged Care Facility or Level 3 qualification in healthcare.
* Must be able to pass MOJ with no previous convictions
* Aged Care Facility: Service is open 24/7 and rotating roster of shifts
