Process & Packing Operator

Working on a rostered shift pattern you will be aligned to one of our processing plants in either the control room or on the factory floor with your key responsibilities being:

• Setting up, checking and running automated production machinery safely and efficiently • Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world class standards • Running production processes and machine diagnostics to ensure quality standards are met • Ensuring documentation is correct and complete • Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure all health, safety and quality procedures are followed at all times.

Together with a good work ethic and a strong focus on health and safety you'll be physically fit and able to show a background of: • Participating as a team player with a positive attitude • Packing machine operation • Quality control and CCP monitoring • Strong attention to details and the ability to follow instructions • Good physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet • Operating touch screen machinery • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable • Operating a Forklift with a current F and OSH would be helpful, but not essential • You must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process. • Hold New Zealand citizenship or have New Zealand Permanent Residency.
