About this job
a) Assist in electing and dismantling the scaffold. b) Carrying scaffold material to lay out around the house while erection is processing. c) Passing up or down the scaffold material and placing them in stillages at sites d) Loading and unloading scaffolding material to or from trucks. e) Help scaffolded in lifting and positioning sections of scaffolding. f) Assist in erecting guard rails, guy wires, ropes and cleats, laying planks and hanging safety nets. g) Cleaning up the truck decks and cab when requested by the manager. h) Housekeeping and maintenance of the base yard as well as the trucks.
Job Requirements
• Previous experience in general labouring, preferably in construction or scaffolding, is an asset but not required (training may be provided). • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working at heights. • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team. • Strong awareness of workplace safety protocols. • Own transportation to and from the job site is preferred. • Must have or be willing to obtain necessary safety certifications.
