Sales Representative

An employer based in Kelston is after Sales Representatives to:

• Promote and sell food and grocery products to wholesale and retail customers. • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the food service and retail sectors. • Contact and visit existing and prospective clients to present product offerings. • Consult with customers to understand product needs and recommend appropriate solutions. • Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and order details; prepare and record orders. • Liaise with logistics and supply teams to coordinate deliveries and inventory. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; respond to inquiries and issues. • Monitor and report on competitor products, market trends, and sales performance. • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

At least 1-year relevant work experience OR NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification. Applicants must be friendly, Passionate, People-Person and someone that has a proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously. All applicants must be able to pass a police check and a pre-employment drug test You need to have the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own (unsupervised), great communication and computer skills, a passion for sales and prior sales experience in a similar environment is a requirement for this role. Full drivers licence is a must as will be driving company vehicle for delivery.
