Class 2 Truck Driver

You duties will include but are not limited to collecting rubbish and recycling bins from customers sites and returning them, entering records for collections at each of the customers sites, ensuring our customers sites are left clean and tidy (better than how you found it), using our tablets and mobile phones – so some experience using technology is a requirement for the role. You will be driving a modern fleet of Isuzu trucks. At each predetermined collection point you will exchange the used recycling bin for a clean and fresh one. You will be in continuous contact with the Logistics team and they will help you to be as efficient as possible and to ensure you adhere to applicable legislation, inhouse policies and processes, they are great backup when you need them. They will also ensure you get the right training and equipment. You must be confident in driving manual Class 2 trucks (Minimum of 8+ months experience)

You must have a Clean Class 2 Full Drivers Licence and be confident in driving manual Class 2 trucks (Minimum of 8+ months experience). All applicants must be able to pass a drug Test and a Criminal background Check. Candidates need to be punctual, have a positive attitude with strong communication skills. You will be using tablets and mobile phones – so some experience using technology is a requirement for the role. You must be able and willing to work early mornings shifts - (2am starts) in the Glendene region as well as working on weekends is a must. Good references from previous employers is a requirement. This is a physically demanding job, and you will have physical duties alongside Class 2 driving, so you must be in good physical health/condition to be able to do heavy lifting and be agile throughout the day.
