An established and reputable metal recycling and processing business in Onehunga is seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join their team.

About the Role: • Operating Class 5 vehicles (truck & trailer) • Transporting metal products and materials safely and efficiently • Completing scheduled pick-ups and deliveries across Auckland and surrounding areas • Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with transport regulations • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For: • Full NZ Class 5 driver licence (essential) • Dangerous Goods (D) and Forklift (F) endorsements required • Previous truck & trailer experience • Experience with Hiab cranes and Road Ranger gearboxes preferred • Strong knowledge of road safety and compliance requirements • Good communication skills and professional presentation • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks when required • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
