Scooter Field Support Assistant (Micromobility Operations)

Keen for a job that requires you to ride scooters around Wellington? We are seeking staff to join our team where you would be riding a cargo scooter in order to swap batteries on scooters across the city!
You would be needed to provide on-ground support to riders, using approved scripts and procedures, Check parking and relocate scooters to approved locations when needed; log issues and escalate matters to the Customer Support team, Promote safe riding and compliance by creating reports for the Customer Support team to action, Attend marketing and community events to educate riders and promote Flamingo’s service, Follow health and safety processes and report hazards/incidents to support WorkSafe compliance.
Job Requirements
At least 6 months’ experience in a micromobility company or in a similar outdoor field role (for example delivery, field services, traffic control support, parking compliance support, outdoor maintenance), with proven ability to work in all weather conditions, including heavy rain and strong wind. No qualifications are required Physically fit and able to complete outdoor, manual work safely Able to communicate clearly and follow approved scripts and procedures Able to use a smartphone for job logging, reporting, and instructions Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Reliable and punctual Must be willing and able to pass a police check. Must be willing and able to pass pre-employment drug testing, and random drug and alcohol testing during employment
