Night Auditor

A New Zealand-owned and operated hotel located in the Auckland Airport precinct is seeking an experienced, responsible, and calm Night Auditor who thrives working overnight. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for someone with solid Night Audit, Hotel Reception, or accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities: - Work 5 night shifts per week, including weekend night audit shifts. - Complete all night audit procedures accurately and efficiently. - Audit and balance the hotel’s accounts overnight. - Investigate and report discrepancies with integrity. - Provide professional Front Office guest service. - Manage late-night check-ins and check-outs. - Take charge in challenging situations, including leading a fire evacuation if required. - Assist with a range of guest service tasks to ensure all guest needs are met.

This is a busy and dynamic role, with regular late-night check-ins and check-outs due to the hotel’s proximity to Auckland Airport. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing the hotel independently overnight.

- Previous Night Audit, Hotel Reception, or Duty Manager experience. - Experience using Hotel PMS software. - Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers. - Ability to use initiative and problem-solve effectively. - Clear, warm, and confident communication skills. - Eagerness to deliver exceptional guest service. - Comfortable working independently overnight. - Must pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check and drug test. - Full driver’s licence preferred. - Must be available to work Rostered Weekends.
