Dairy Farm Assistant

This Farm is located in Gordonton. You will be milking 1000.00 cows in a Herringbone and Rotary sheds The farm comprises 200 hectares. Your tasks will be made up of daily milking routines, including setup, cleaning, and operation of milking equipment. Feed and monitor the health and wellbeing of livestock. Clean and maintain animal pens, milking sheds, and other work areas. Carry out general farm maintenance, including fencing, spraying, and irrigation support. Assist with calving, herd movement, and treatment of minor animal health issues under supervision. Follow all on-farm health, safety, and biosecurity procedures. Maintain records related to milking, feeding, and animal health as required. Share accommodation available (House). You must live on the farm
Job Requirements
Must be pass a drug test Must pass a Police check. No criminal convictions Must have a full licence and own transport Must live on the farm (shared accommodation available) Must have 2-4 years farming experience No pets No smoking or vaping
- Days of work
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and in all weather conditions. Roster will be given. (30 hours per week)
