Foundry Worker - Fettler

Te Rapa based employer looking for a foundry worker - Fettler to join their team to assist processing a range of non-ferrous castings. The primary role is the cutting / grinding / linishing of finished castings. List of Tasks include: Cut off & grinding of finished Castings Assist with further processing of castings Assist with mould knock out Core making when required Fettling bay and foundry clean up Packing of orders
Previous experience not required as the successful applicant will receive on job training. Any previous experience to engineering type work or the use of power tools would be an advantage.
Must be, physically fit, self-motivated, be able to work unsupervised once trained, willing to learn new tasks and be a good communicator.
Job Requirements
-Must pass a pre employment drug test and MOJ check -Must have reliable transport - ideally min restricted license -Physically fit be able to lift up to 25kgs - General Labouring experience in engineering or construction is ideal, Employer will train the right candidate for this role
