Commercial Cleaner

Auckland based employer is seeking for Commercial Cleaners to join their busy team. The job will be around South Auckland. Key Responsibilities: • Vacuum carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture. • Dust, clean, and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings. • Mop and scrub floors, including re-waxing and polishing. • Empty bins and remove rubbish and recyclables. • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, laundry areas, and replenish supplies. • Report plumbing issues or damaged fixtures. • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners and cleaning machines. • Clean walls, ceilings, overhead pipes, and hard-to-reach areas. • Use solvents and acids to remove stains and dirt. • Deep-clean machinery, motors, furnaces, tanks, and ship interiors. • Perform vacuuming and mopping inside motor areas in hotels. • Clean building exteriors using sandblasting or solvents.

The ideal candidate should be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

- Must hold a minimum restricted Class 1 Drivers Licence with own transport to get to and from work. Petrol expenses will be covered. - Must be familiar with New Zealand cleaning standards and procedures - Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 20 kgs - Must have at least 6 months relevant experience - Must be with their working flexible hours - Must pass police/MOJ check, Child Sex Offender Risk check and pre-employment drug test
