Construction and Manufacturing Worker

A labour hire specialist is currently looking for Construction and Manufacturing Workers to join their team on a full-time basis.

You will work for their clients in the Auckland region. Duties include:

- Using hand and power tools - Cleaning construction sites and factories, including the removal of debris and unused or hazardous materials - Working with machinery - Moving equipment and materials - Assembling goods and parts on a production line - Following all advised health and safety regulations - Making and installing products out of various components such as glass, aluminium, timber, iron, and steel - Measuring, cutting, and building elements for residential, commercial, and industrial products - Maintenance of existing structures and fittings - Assembling and installing structures and frameworks

Must have at least a minimum of three months’ relevant experience in a construction and manufacturing environment

Must be able to pass a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check & drug test

Must have experience in using hand and power tools (preferred but not essential)

Must have good communication skills and willingness to learn new techniques where required

Must be physically fit and capable of heavy duties and lifting

Must hold a full Class 1 driver's licence with reliable transport
