Orchardist
About this job
The Orchardist supports day to day orchard operations to produce a high quality export crop. Key tasks include:
Pruning, tree training and thinning Quality checks, tree tying and redevelopment tasks Tractor driving, mowing, spraying and mulching Irrigation Using ladders and hand tools General physical orchard work Tractor, spraying, or machinery operation experience Orchard or horticulture experience Supervisory experience or working with multicultural teams e.g., Pacific workforce
Job Requirements
Not essential but any related qualifications would be beneficial e.g. Grow Safe.
Have reliable transport (minimum Restricted licence) Hold a satisfactory MOJ check Pass a urine drug test Be available for full time work

- 7:30am to 4:30pm 30 – 60 hours per week Monday - Saturday (40 hours per week)
