Production Welder- Kaitaia

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated welder/fabricator to join our growing Kaitaia team. Bring your welding skills and be part of a supportive production crew.
Responsibilities:
Taking instructions and competently following systems for the timely, consistent and quality production of our stoves/fireplaces and parts.
Ensure any safety issues in the welding area is brought to the attention of the factory manager in a timely manner.
The role may also include development and maintenance of welding production jigs. General workshop duties including cutting, grinding, linishing, painting and the like. Maintain a clean, tidy and safe workspace including general care, upkeep and maintenance of plant and equipment as required and always using safe work practices while being a positive and supportive team member. Additional duties may include receiving and checking inwards goods. Packaging and dispatch of product and assembly of stoves/fireplaces and parts, stock takes if and as required.

Job Requirements
-Minimum of 3 years welding experience within the last 10 years, welding certificates or tickets an advantage but not necessary.
-Current drivers license required for use of company vehicles.
-Confidence and the ability to work with power tools and machinery.
-Ability to measure and cut accurately. Physically fit.
-Can pass MOJ and drug test.

- Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm (40 hours per week)
