We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Cook to join a supportive kitchen team within a well-established residential care environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing nutritious meals and making a real difference in the lives of others through food service.
About the Role: You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and service of quality meals in line with dietary and nutritional requirements, ensuring all food is presented to a high standard.
Key duties include: -Preparing and cooking meals in a commercial kitchen setting -Assisting with menu planning and food presentation -Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met -Managing kitchen cleanliness and stock rotation -Working collaboratively as part of a team -Supporting special dietary needs where required
Job Requirements
-Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen -A passion for preparing fresh, nutritious meals -Strong time management and organisational skills -Ability to work both independently and within a team -Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices -A positive attitude and willingness to learn -Applicants must be able to provide an updated CV -Must be able to pass MOJ check and pre-employment drug test
