Class 2 Delivery Driver (manual Hino)
About this job
Operate a Class 2 commercial vehicle to transport a variety of goods and materials.
-Load and unload delivery items onto the truck. -Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as needed. -Maintain accurate delivery/return records and documentation. -Ensure daily maintenance checks are completed and carry out minor maintenance tasks.
Job Requirements
-A valid Class 2 driver's licence with a clean driving record -Previous experience as a Class 2 driver -Must pass drug testing and MOJ check -Forklift licence preferred, but training can be provided for the right applicant -Dangerous goods endorsement is preferred but we would support the right applicant to obtain this -Warehouse Experience -Ability to use app based software -Able to work on a curtain side truck and drive a road ranger gearbox -Be physically fit as manual handling and heavy lifting are a requirement. -Excellent customer service skills -Ability to work effectively as part of a team. -Good problem-solving and decision-making skills -Willingness to work with the team to ensure successful on time, every time delivery for our customers.
