About the role At Bunnings, we are committed to participating in the communities in which we operate. We do this by contributing to local, regional and national causes, charities and organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand. The role of the Activities Organiser is to help drive meaningful and active participation in our wide range of local community groups. As the Activities Organiser you will play a key part in facilitating a variety of in store and community-based activities that enhance the shopping experience for our customers, as well as build and strengthen existing relationships within the local community.
What you’ll be doing • Plan and run fun events in store (kids activities, DIY workshops, demos, family nights). • Visit schools and community groups to run workshops and projects. • Organise donations and fundraising activities. • Be the main contact person between the store and local community groups. • Promote store events and work with staff and external partners to make them happen.

Job Requirements
What you'll need:
• Full driver license • Genuine passion for supporting and being involved in the community. • Ability to influence, motivate, and engage in-store teams. • Confidence to build, grow, and maintain relationships with diverse community groups. • Creativity to design and deliver engaging workshops and activities. • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan events, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. • Approachable and friendly with a mindset oriented towards inclusivity and collaboration. (prior knowledge not essential but will need to be community focused and engaged.) • Integrity, Reliability, and a Positive Attitude • Flexibility to work various shifts — including early mornings, late nights, and weekends • Able to pass pre-employment MOJ checks and drug checks MOJ
*Please note you will also need to be able to lift up to 15kg and climb ladders.
