Herd Manager

Contract Milker in Te Awamutu is looking for a Herd Manager to Maintain accurate records of treatments production, and reproduction. Coordinate with veterinarians for animal health plans. supervise calving. Monitor cow behavior to detect signs of illness or metabolic problems oversea and participate in efficient milking processes. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the Milking shed, equipment and udders. Tractor driving feeding out in paddock and emptying effluent sump Ensure all animals receive appropriate feed with in shed feeding and clean water. Plan and implement paddock rotations' monitor pasture growth ensure adequate feed supply Coordinate weed control, and pasture management. lead and supervise farm assistance manage procedures and ensure daily operations run smoothly. Ensue health & safety protocols are followed Maintain farm infrastructure including fences, shed, and troughs. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standard Requirements:
