Kiwifruit orchard worker

Keen to be outdoors? We have an opportunity for people who enjoy outdoor work and are motivated - in the Te Puke area. The main role at harvest (March-June) is picking kiwifruit. The work involves being on your feet and working with hands above head and shoulder height for long periods and carry a picking bag on your front. During the winter season (June-September) the work includes pruning, stringing and other winter orchard work. The work involves being on your feet and working with hands above head and shoulder height for long periods For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn on-orchard – gumboots are suitable. You will require secured accommodation within daily travel distance.
Job Requirements
Harvest: No experience required, all training provided. Winter: 1 – 2 years winter pruning experience preferred but not required. Non-pruning work available without experience. Full training provided. Minor convictions considered - excludes any form of assault.

- Monday – Sunday, 8am – 6pm (weather dependent) Start approximately early Marche through to 30 September. (30 hours per week)
