Class 4 truck driver

The employer is seeking a reliable, safety focused Class 4 Driver to join their Auckland team. This full time role involves operating sideload trucks, using joystick systems for bin and container collection, and performing general route and vehicle duties. Key Responsibilities: • Drive a Class 4 rubbish collection vehicle on scheduled routes • Operate sideload systems safely using the joystick for loading and unloading bins or containers • Complete daily vehicle and equipment safety checks • Secure loads correctly and follow all traffic and safety rules • Assist with on route tasks and manual handling when required • Use mobile device or tablets for logbooks, route tracking, and job sheets • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members • Follow strict health and safety standards at all times • Represent the company professionally with a customer focused attitude • Full time, permanent role with daily return to base

• Valid Class 4 NZ driver’s licence • Proven experience operating sideload trucks • Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading bins/containers safely • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety checks, load securing, and road rules • Confident using smartphones/tablets for logbooks, route tracking, and delivery updates • Able to pass: • Pre-employment medical • Drug and alcohol testing • Police/MOJ background check
