The primary objectives of the role are: 1. Follow directions from your supervisor or manager as documented in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) 2. Perform work to your best abilities, efficiently and in good quality 3. Use and operate machinery as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) relevant to workstations 4. Ensure the correct use of material and resources in an efficient manner to minimise loss as per the “7 Wastes of Lean” principles 5. Monitor and record rejects and record wastage daily 6. Actively participate and create a positive team culture around workplace Health and Safety 7. Actively participate and create a team culture of open communication, trust, and teamwork in the spirit of continuous improvement 8. Keep workstation clean and in order, free of debris and rubbish. At the end of each shift, leave workstation ready for the next shift

Job Requirements
Essential skills • Motivated – the desire to work, learn and develop new skills with a strong work ethic, lots of energy and a positive attitude • Physically Fit – a strong individual with good level of fitness, and the ability to work on your feet for an 8hr shift • Teamwork – the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required. • Communication skills – able to gain knowledge and follow instructions through listening, as well as share information with others both verbally and written. • Methodical approach – the ability to follow a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) methodically as documented, and in the correct order for a smooth-running production line. • Thinking - an individual who is constantly assessing and evaluating the task they are performing, continuously seeks Opportunities for Improvement (OFI) and able to make a considered decision via a problem-solving process.
Experience • Previous work experience in the manufacturing environment, or able to demonstrate transferable skills from other industries an advantage • Basic numeracy and literacy competency • Basic computer literacy • Good timekeeping and organisational skills • Strong hand eye coordination, with hand speed
MUST pass both pre employment and random drug testing, due to the nature of products produced only minor driving offences considered- no other conviction history.
