An employer in Foxton is hiring a Cook/General Kitchen Assistant to join their team! You’ll work alongside the Kitchen Manager to prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals, keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard
Follow Chef’s instructions and maintain food safety rules
Keep the kitchen and storage areas clean and organized
Operate the cash register and PA meal system
Report any issues promptly
What they’re looking for:
Previous experience in meal preparation, cooking, and presentation
Team player with attention to detail
Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to work flexible hours
Available for lunch service Friday–Sunday, dinner service Thursday–Saturday (and some Sundays/public holidays)
Job Requirements
Looking for someone who has had previous experience in meal preparation, cooking and presentation of meals. We are now open for lunches Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as dinner service Thursday – Saturday and some Sundays, and public holidays where required.

- Permanent part-time, 15 hrs pw. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, some Sundays. Lunch 11:30 am - 2:30 pm; Dinner 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. (15 hours per week)
