Truck Driver - Class 5
About this job
Are you a reliable and experienced Class 5 Truck Driver? This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, is safety-focused, and takes pride in delivering goods on time. Multiple locations: Drive from Taupo to Wellington Ferry and/or Auckland to Taupo. Duties include Safely operate and maintain company trucks. Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo as required, including use a forklift. Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues. Follow all road safety regulations and company policies. Complete delivery documentation and logs accurately. If your Dangerous Foods and/or Forklift endorsement is out of date, still get in touch in you meet the other criteria.
Job Requirements
Valid NZ Heavy Vehicle Licence (class 5) Valid DG endorsement on licence. 1 year of experience. Fork Hoist licence Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks. Clean driving record. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills. A Ministry of Justice check is required, as is a pre-employment drug test.
