Heavy Truck class 4

Seeking an experienced and professional Class 4 Heavy Truck Driver to join our operations team in Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of general freight while maintaining full compliance with transport regulations and company policies. This role requires flexibility, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work rostered shifts across a 7-day schedule.

Responsibilities include but not limited to : • Safely deliver and collect general freight throughout the Auckland region. • Ensure all freight is transported securely and arrives in excellent condition. • Conduct vehicle weight checks before and after loading. • Inspect loads to confirm they are correctly secured and compliant with safety standards. • Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes. • Accurately complete logbooks, including work and rest periods and kilometres travelled. • Retain and submit fuel and toll receipts as required. • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. • Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle and equipment. • Follow all health and safety procedures, company policies, and road transport regulations. • Undertake additional reasonable duties to support operational requirements. • Travel outside Auckland as required.

• Valid New Zealand Class 4 Truck Driver Licence (or recognised overseas equivalent). • Current Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement. • Valid Forklift licence/endorsement. • Clean driving record. • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. • Strong understanding of transport safety and compliance requirements. • High attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills. • Physically fit and capable of handling freight-related tasks. • Reliable, self-motivated, and hardworking with a positive attitude. • Willingness to travel outside Auckland when required.

Expected Attendance • Rostered shifts between 5:00 AM and 12:00 AM, Monday to Sunday. • Weekend work required. • Flexibility to work varying shift patterns based on operational needs.
