A Manukau based employer is seeking a Commercial Solutions Coordinator (Billing & Pricing) to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Commercial Solutions Coordinator (Billing & Pricing) is a newly created hybrid role focused on billing support, pricing analysis, and preparing customer proposals. The role ensures customers receive accurate billing outcomes, competitive pricing options, and clear, well-presented commercial documentation across both the New Zealand and Australian markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing Coordination • Process billing updates including new connections, tariff changes, plan changes, and disconnections. • Validate billing data from retailers and networks for accuracy. • Resolve billing discrepancies and liaise with retailers and networks as required. • Maintain accurate billing logs, trackers, and CRM records.
Pricing & Commercial Analysis • Prepare competitive SME and commercial pricing proposals. • Analyse consumption patterns, historical billing, and customer energy profiles. • Assist with tender pricing, custom quotes, and commercial modelling. • Review tariff structures and verify pricing received from retailers.
Proposal & RFP Development • Prepare customer-facing proposals and pricing packs. • Assist with RFP/RFQ submissions including collating information and drafting proposal sections. • Maintain professional templates for proposals and commercial documents. • Ensure documents meet brand, quality, and compliance standards.
Internal Collaboration & Systems • Collaborate with the CEO, Energy Services Manager, and Sales Team. • Support updates to internal pricing tools and Excel models. • Maintain CRM, internal documentation, and pricing frameworks. • Assist in improving workflows and processes for billing and pricing.

Job Requirements
Must have experience in billing, pricing, commercial analysis, or utilities administration.
Must have strong numerical and analytical skills.
Must have excellent Excel capability (lookups, pivot tables, modelling).
Must have strong written English with the ability to prepare clear proposals.
Must have high attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check
Preference will be given to candidates who have: • Knowledge of New Zealand or Australian energy sector. • Familiarity with ICPs (Installation Control Points), tariffs, networks, and retailer billing. • Experience with RPFs (Request for Proposals) or commercial proposal development. • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or billing system experience.
