Job Title: Supply and Logistics Clerk Location: Tauranga Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am – 4:00pm (min 30 hours per week)
About the Role A Tauranga employer is seeking a reliable and organised Supply and Logistics Clerk to join their busy maritime supply team. This role is responsible for receiving supply orders from vessels, sourcing and purchasing required goods, and coordinating timely delivery to ships in port. Working closely with shipping agents, procurement teams, suppliers, and port authorities, you will ensure vessel orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with New Zealand maritime and biosecurity regulations.
Key Responsibilities • Receive and process vessel supply orders from shipping agents and procurement teams • Coordinate sourcing and purchasing of goods from approved suppliers • Prepare quotations, invoices, packing lists, and delivery documentation • Organise and schedule deliveries according to vessel ETA and port requirements • Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and vessel representatives • Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records • Track inbound and outbound goods while ensuring full compliance with documentation requirements • Ensure all deliveries meet Health & Safety, food safety, and quality standards • Assist with warehouse coordination and loading supervision • Maintain clear communication with management regarding order progress and delays • Ensure compliance with New Zealand biosecurity and maritime regulations
About You • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, maritime services, or procurement- maybe you have come from a Warehouse background in a similar role • Strong organisational and time management skills • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices • Good computer skills (MS Office and inventory/order management systems) • Full driver’s licence and own reliable transport (essential)

Job Requirements
