Mower Operator / Team Leader

A leading general maintenance contractor for Auckland Council is seeking an experienced Mower Operator / Team Leader to join our team, based in Mount Wellington.

This is a key position within the company, suited to a responsible and motivated individual who can lead by example while working in a team environment.

You will be responsible for operating mowing equipment, including ride-on mowers, while assisting in the supervision and coordination of site activities to ensure all client requirements are met.

This role requires strong technical skills, leadership ability, and a clear understanding of contracted scopes of work and scheduled programming.

Key responsibilities :

* Operate ride-on mowers and related equipment safely and efficiently * Ensure all tasks are delivered in line with contract requirements * Take responsibilities for allocated jobs and overall site performance * Support, guide, and develop team members * Maintain productivity whilst working independently when required * Clear and effective communication with your Supervisor, Operation Manager, and team members
