Tipper Driver

A reputable trucking company based in Manukau currently has an opportunity available for an experienced Tipper Driver to join their team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to : • Operate tipper trucks for the transportation and laying of hot mix/asphalt. • Ensure the safe and timely unloading of materials at paving and roadwork sites. • Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor during asphalt laying operations. • Conduct basic daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the truck. • Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety policies and road traffic regulations. • Work collaboratively with paving crews to ensure smooth and efficient site operations.

• Hold a current and valid Class 4 – Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence, with intermediate level driving experience (2–4 years). • Previous experience in hot mix/asphalt operations and roadwork projects is will be an advantage. • Proven experience in tipper truck driving is preferred. • Must be Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site environments. • Willingness to work extended hours, including night shifts when required. • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment and compliance checks.

Expected Attendance • Days of Work: Monday to Friday • Hours: Start and finish times will vary depending on the nature and location of the job. • Availability for extended hours and night shifts may be required depending on workload.
