About the Position

A boutique business providing quality products and service to the Wellington region. Applicants for this role must have knowledge and experience in the construction industry, ideally within the window building sector, but related fields will also be considered.

We are looking for a superstar coordinator with confidence, a can-do attitude, and strong initiative to join our team.

You will be responsible for the following:

Coordinating and managing customer relationships Scheduling final site measures, providing all details of projects, and planning the Manager’s day Administration: creation and management of project folders for construction and installation Timely ordering of products for specific projects and maintaining generic factory inventory and consumables Monitoring timely receipt of project orders, inspecting goods on receipt for any damage, and arranging fast replacement of damaged goods Collaborating with the Factory Manager to prioritise and monitor the workflow of project construction to meet delivery dates Coordinating the timely handover of projects from the factory to the installation team while scheduling installations and delivery of project materials to the site Acting as a communication conduit and coordination point between the customer, office, factory, and installation team

Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have: An impeccable work ethic with exceptional time management and organisational skills Core strengths in communication, planning, organisation, and time management Outgoing and great at building and managing relations A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a contract or project manager role Ability and enthusiasm to manage and meet the needs of clients, with well-developed customer relationship management skills The ability to relate well to people at all levels Be well-presented Experience working with the Google business suite Competent computer technical skills to quickly learn V6 custom software, with familiarity in Procore Software being a plus or a willingness to learn Proficiency in multitasking A strong focus on continuous improvement, a keen eye for detail, and the initiative to develop better processes and systems Mandarin language skills are a bonus as part of our team speaks Mandarin Must pass drug and MOJ checks *JSL-All applicants MUST answer the screening questions in the comments section
