About this job
A Farm Assistant is required for this 600 cow dairy farm. The farm property comprises 163 hectares and operates a 60 bail rotary shed The property is located in around the township of Walton(between Morrinsville and Matamata) Your role will be to assist with milking, feeding, and animal health. Support with calving, maintenance, and general farm work. Learn and grow under experienced management. What’s on offer: Shared on-farm accommodation (must live on site) Guaranteed minimum 30 hours/week (average 40 hours) 6 days on / 1 day off roster Great opportunity to gain experience in a supportive team Requirements: 0–6 months dairy experience (training provided) This role would suit someone reliable, honest, happy to get out of bed early and keen to learn more about dairying. .
Job Requirements
Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass a Police check. No criminal convictions Must live on the farm. Shared accommodation available Must have a full licence and own transport No smoking or vaping No pets Must have an up to date CV with a minimum of 2 references If candidate does not have dairy farming experience they need to say why they want to apply for this farming role
