A longstanding roofing company based in West Auckland that specialises in commercial long-run roofing is looking for Roofers Assistants in the West & South Auckland area.
This role is to support and work alongside experienced tradesmen. Duties include: • Assisting with long run iron roofing installations on new commercial projects and re-roofing projects • Lifting and loading materials • Assisting with laying roofing • Installing mesh and underlay

Job Requirements
• Site Safe required • Working at heights • Some experience in the roofing industry preferred but not essential • Experience in the construction industry (minimum 6 months) • Good work ethic and willingness to learn • Comfortable working at heights (8m–18m, varies by site) • Must be reliable and punctual • Willingness to work with a team and not let the team down • Keen to learn and make personal progress in your job • Strong customer focus and pride in work • Reliable transport • This role includes a 90-day trial period • Verbal references required

- Early starts at 6am -3:30pm Some weekends will be required to work (30 hours per week)
