Sign Installer

A Sign Services company is seeking a reliable and motivated Sign Installer to join our team based in Airport Oaks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and removal of signage in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and clean installation sites, remove existing signage, and set up mounting structures such as posts and beams. • Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine accurate sign placement. • Measure, mark, and secure signs using appropriate hand and power tools. • Perform tasks such as drilling, bolting, screwing components into place, and mixing/tamping cement where required. • Operate equipment including cranes, hydraulic booms, and scaffolding to lift and position signage safely. • Replace damaged or worn signs, carry out touch-ups, and dismantle old signage when necessary. • Safely load, transport, and unload signs, materials, and tools to and from job sites. • Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations and assist with obtaining required permits where applicable. • Maintain clean and safe work environments at all times.

• Must hold a full Class 1 Driver’s Licence. • Proven experience operating cranes, hydraulic booms, scaffolding, and other lifting equipment. • Experience preferred in signage installation, trade, or construction environments else training would be provided. • Must have current Site Safe and Working at Heights certifications. • Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including: o Ministry of Justice check o Random drug and alcohol testing o Reference checks • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices. • Physically fit and capable of manual handling and working outdoors in various conditions. Trade or construction background will be highly regarded.
