Courier Driver
About this job
Safely deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes within the designated region. Follow assigned delivery routes and time schedules. Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles. Complete required logs, reports, and job sheets accurately. Use delivery apps and technology to manage deliveries and provide real-time updates to customers. Meet strict delivery deadlines while handling goods with care and respect. Obtain proof of delivery, including customer signatures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Job Requirements
Role Requirements for Delivery Driver
- A full and clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence with DG endorsement
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry goods safely.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Days of work
- As per roster including weekend work. Usually between 7am-6pm. 7 day availability. (40 hours per week)
