About this job
As a Farm Hand, your role will be involved in caring for our flocks at our Farm. This will involve completing feeding schedules, cleaning sheds, and collecting eggs for delivery to our Hatchery among other things. This role is a busy one and requires someone who can work well within the team to achieve great results for our flocks. Hours of work are between 6.30 am and 3.00 pm, rostered weekend work will also be required.Immediate start Great starting rate with rate increases as you progress in training, Staff benefits package Staff sales of Ingham's products at great prices! Freed box of chicken every month.
Job Requirements
Handling of poultry Collecting of eggs Completing feed and shed runs Cleaning of sheds prior to new poultry arriving on-site General farm duties You will bring to this role You will be an energetic team player striving for success Due to Bio-Security risks, all farming employees may not have any poultry or birds at home You will have the ability to work unsupervised and have excellent time management You will have excellent attention to detail You won’t be afraid of hard work or rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in
