Consumer Marketing Lead
An established and rapidly expanding technology retailer is seeking a Consumer Marketing Lead to oversee all consumer-facing marketing activities, ensuring they align with business objectives and resonate with the target audience.
In this role, you’ll lead a talented team, manage key marketing campaigns, and collaborate with internal teams, global vendors and partners to execute successful consumer promotions.
Your key focus will be delivering high-impact marketing campaigns that engage and inspire. This role offers the chance to be a key player in the ongoing success of the company’s continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute consumer promotional campaigns for NZ, AU and global markets. Collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, and vendors to develop engaging, results-oriented campaign strategies. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with strategic goals. Lead the company’s social media strategy, creating engaging content and fostering online community interaction. Work with the Digital Marketing Team to deliver campaigns across digital channels including EDM, social media, SEM and display advertising to drive consumer engagement. Provide direction to creative teams (graphics, video, copywriters) to ensure high-quality, on-brand marketing assets. Guide the development of engaging content, including articles, product descriptions, and promotional materials. Develop and nurture relationships with finance partners to negotiate competitive offers and co-marketing opportunities. Lead the execution of finance-driven campaigns to drive sales and enhance customer experiences. Create and coordinate marketing assets for retail stores, including signage, merchandising, and in-store event materials. Provide marketing support for in-store promotions and activations. Lead, support and mentor the Consumer Marketing team. Allocate work, review output and provide coaching where needed. Support HR processes including performance reviews and leave approval.
Job Requirements
Requirements About You
Experience in consumer or retail marketing, with a deep understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a marketing team to achieve their best. Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and present campaign ideas clearly. A creative mindset, paired with strong commercial and analytical skills. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively. Strong interest in and knowledge of consumer technology. Experience in technology retail is a plus, but not essential. Support HR processes including performance reviews and leave approval. - Monday to Friday, roster b/w 9AM – 6PM, flexibility required around weekend work, if required. (30 hours per week) (30 hours per week)
