Snowmaking Attendant: Create the snow that makes the season possible. You’ll deliver a professional, efficient and safe snowmaking service, ensuring optimal snow quality and coverage across the mountain. This role involves night shifts and working in alpine conditions. What you’ll bring: • Snowmaking experience (advantageous) • Ability to work independently and safely in a potentially hazardous environment • Strong mechanical aptitude • Full Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence preferred, you will need reliable transport to get up the mountain • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-changing conditions
Road Attendant: Help keep the mountain moving. You’ll provide a safe and efficient road operations service, ensuring access for guests and staff in alpine conditions. What you’ll bring: • Outdoor work experience (snow or tourism industry preferred) • Confidence working in fast-paced, changeable environments • Minimum Restricted NZ Driver’s Licence (Full preferred) • Experience driving in winter road conditions (snow and ice beneficial)
Terrain Park Attendant: Be part of creating the ultimate park experience. You’ll assist with the set-up, monitoring and basic maintenance of daily terrain park features while ensuring guest safety. What you’ll bring: • Experience in a customer-facing role • Strong knowledge of terrain park features and operations (essential) • Advanced skiing or snowboarding ability (essential) • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, weather-dependent environment
• Must be available for early morning starts from 6:00am (Transport: Staff vans are available for morning shifts, operating between 6:00am and 8:00am, pickup Ohakune.) • Must pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening • Hold a minimum Restricted NZ Driver’s Licence • Available to work Monday–Sunday on a rostered basis (weather dependent) Minimum 15 hours per week • Provide an up-to-date CV outlining relevant experience • Supply two recent referees
