About this job
As a Senior RN , you’ll play a vital role in being a senior clinical resource for the team. You will be mentoring RNs and Caregivers, leading from the floor and supporting continuous quality improvement. You will be focused on team and system oversight while ensuring that the team delivers safe, person-centred care in a supportive team environment. While working hands-on as a Registered Nurse (about 60% of your time), you will have the added responsibilities of the following: Lead and oversee clinical care delivery across the shift Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and mentoring Manage complex clinical issues and escalation Support audits, quality initiatives, and compliance Greater accountability for clinical standards and governance Support the wellbeing and dignity of our residents with professionalism and compassion
Job Requirements
A current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate You will be InterRai trained Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Experience in aged residential care Strong clinical leadership and decision-making capability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A genuine commitment to resident safety, comfort, and quality of life
