Store Assistant

Experienced retail assistant required for a hands on role in Wholefoods store in Mt Eden. Key tasks include: • Shop floor – cashier, customer service such as product information, observing customer activity to ensure adequate service is provided and theft is avoided. • Attentive customer service • Maintaining a tidy environment and ensuring hygiene standards are met • Maintaining well organized merchandised areas • Growing personal knowledge in specialist products • Labelling and replenishing of stock on shop floor. • Repacking of bulk product. • Processing and putting away supplier orders. • Ad hoc duties, which may include such activities as filling customer orders

• Must be a team player with strong product knowledge and proven retail/supermarket and customer service expereince. • Must be physically fit, able to lift 25kg to manage restocking and inwards goods. • You can learn on the job but will need to have a strong interest in food and nutrition and a can-do attitude. • Must be available to work on roster basis including weekends. • Knowledge of social media posts, friendly. Bit of experience in marketing. • Must have computer knowledge. • Must have no criminal convictions, and must be able to pass random drug testing.
