Residential Support Team member Levin

Provide person-centred support to a young man by assisting him to build independence rather than doing tasks for him. Offer one-on-one support while encouraging teamwork and positive social participation.

Support the development of everyday living skills, including hygiene, cooking and meal preparation, and household tasks, promoting dignity and respect at all times.

Encourage active community participation and accompany him to activities as needed.

Maintain accurate note keeping, ensure confidentiality of client information, and participate in monthly Team Huis meetings.

Support him to keep his home and personal space clean, organised and tidy.

We are seeking a mature, compassionate, and reliable individual who is committed to providing respectful, person-centred support.

Essential Qualities and Requirements: - Demonstrates respect for clients and team members at all times - Ability to build trust in both one-on-one and team environments - Patient, caring, and emotionally mature - Knowledge and understanding of the mental health sector - Full New Zealand driver’s licence - Reliable, roadworthy vehicle - Current Warrant of Fitness (WOF) - Clear Police Vetting

Preferred: - Previous experience working within the mental health sector
