Assistant Chef/cook - Italian
About this job
This is a great chance for an experienced cook to join a small team in an Italian restaurant and takeaway in Auckland CBD.
The role will require someone with the ability to:
- Prepare, cook, and produce menu items in a high demand environment - Support senior chef/cooks in all aspects of running the kitchen - Ability to run kitchen on own when needed - Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene - Work in a supportive and collaborative way with FOH team
Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of one year experience as a Chef or Assistant Chef. Experience in Italian cuisine is preferred however, candidates with some knowledge of Italian cooking and a willingness to learn will also be considered. - Appropriate cooking qualifications - Availability to work shifts across seven days
- Days of work
- Monday to Saturday rostered split shifts between 7am to 10pm (40 hours per week)
