Primary School - Navigator

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Primary School Navigator to support and inspire primary-aged tamariki in our partner schools in Tikipunga and/or Otangarei, Whangarei.
If you’re committed to education, bring positive energy that builds resilience and wellbeing, and can form strong, trusting relationships with tamariki, whanau, kaiako, and the wider community, this could be the role for you.
A deep commitment to Te Ao Maori principles, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and Tikanga Maori.
Job Requirements
Conversational skills in Te Reo Maori is advantageous. Drawing from life experience and deep self-awareness, you embody resilience, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, grounded in integrity, trust, and excellent time management.
The ability to inspire, motivate, and communicate with empathy, compassion and warmth.
Exceptional communication and relational skills with the ability to navigate diverse environments, build trust with tamariki, whanau, and educators, and foster meaningful connections that support positive outcomes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate programmes and track outcomes.
Can pass pre employment drug test and MOJ checks.
Holds a full drivers license.
