About the Role:
A Tauranga based employer is looking for some staff to join their busy team. This rewarding role involves supporting clients in their homes and communities to live independently and with dignity. As a Home Help Caregiver, you will assist with a range of daily tasks and provide compassionate care tailored to everyone’s needs. Key Responsibilities: -Assisting clients with home help tasks vary but could include such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, supporting personal care needs including showering, dressing and grooming, -Providing shopping assistance and helping clients run errands Driving clients to appointments, the supermarket, or community activities -Assisting with moving and handling, including the use of hoists and manual transfers -Following care plans and reporting any concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Job Requirements
Requirements: -Must have a valid driver’s license (Learners considered if you are booked to sit a Restricted) -Must have reliable and roadworthy transport -Must be able to pass a drug test -Criminal convictions considered on a case-by-case basis -Kind, caring, and patient nature -Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds -Experience with complex clients (e.g., spinal injuries, traumatic brain injuries) is an advantage -Experience with tetraplegic clients, hoists, and manual transfers preferred but not essential -Employment Type: Part-Time (Up to 29 Hours)
Days of work: As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including am, pm and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.
The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.
