Would you like to work in our family-oriented centre? Be part of a small intimate team of dedicated teachers, where you will help shape and inspire a developing philosophy and learning community. This flexible work schedule will consist ( from Monday to Friday). Our centre is developed around a home-away-from-home philosophy, and is based around building strong relationships with staff, tamariki and their whanau, with very low teacher to child ratios (1:3.5). To be a successful candidate, you must: • Have had some previous work experience in ECE • Have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written • Be caring and love working with children • Be comfortable working in a small team • Be independent and able to self-manage • Be hardworking, flexible and reliable • Be willing to learn • Be committed to ongoing professional development • Be willing to always go the extra mile • Having a good sense of humour • Ability to play a musical instrument would be an added qualification.
