Kiwifruit orchard worker

Kiwifruit orchard workers are required on a fixed term basis in the Te Puke/Paengaroa area.
Duties include winter & summer pruning, planting, stringing, canes on strings, thinning, girdling, harvesting and other general orchard work.
You will be on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time.
This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available. Closed footwear must be worn on orchard – gumboots and sneakers are suitable. Tools are provided by the employer. Training is provided.
You will be required to have secured accommodation within daily distance to the Te Puke/Paengaroa area prior to applying.
Job Requirements
Must have closed footwear, be physically capable of being on feet for long periods and able to work above head and shoulders for long periods. Reliable transport to travel to and from work. Minimum restricted drivers licence if driving self. Minor convictions considered.
