Experienced Baker

We are seeking a baker to join our team. Must have previous Baking experience.

Key Responsibilities • Prepare and bake cakes, slices, muffins, pies, quiches, scones, and other cafe style baked goods. • Produce and decorate cakes to a high standard. • Ensure consistency in recipes, presentation, and portion sizes. • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety standards. • Assist with stock management and ordering ingredients as required. • Collaborate with cafe staff to support daily service. • Be open to learning new techniques and recipes through on the job training.

About Us We are a busy cafe dedicated to serving delicious, baked goods and cafe style meals. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where customers can enjoy everything from cakes and slices to pies, quiches, and freshly baked scones. The role will include baking goods for our established business as well as our new venture supplying good quality baked goods to other cafes and food suppliers.

• Previous experience as a baker in a cafe, bakery, or similar setting is a bonus. • Good knowledge of baking techniques and attention to detail. • Must be familiar with Glen Innes and other surrounding suburbs. • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. • Ability to follow instructions and retain information • Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. • Flexible, reliable, and a team player. • Have a passion to learn and adapt new skills . • Ability to pass MOJ and drug test.
